Location

Serving Marion County With Care

Since 1971, Meals on Wheels of Central Indiana (MOWCI) has proudly served residents of Marion County, Indiana.

If you’re applying for services for yourself or a loved one but live outside Marion County, we recommend using Find Meals, a resource from Meals on Wheels of America.

Simply enter the ZIP Code where meals are needed, and you’ll get a list of local resources that can help.

Time

Nutritious Meals, Right On Time

Meals are delivered between 11 AM and 3 PM, except on major holidays. Most of our meals are delivered by friendly volunteers.

We do our best to arrive at the same time each day, but delivery times may sometimes vary based on volunteer availability.

If your meal is running later than usual, please call our office at 317-252-5558 – we’re happy to help!

Safety

Safe Paths, Safe Pets, Reliable Meals

We love our furry friends! But, for everyone’s safety, please keep them indoors in a secure, enclosed area during regular delivery hours. Our volunteers’ safety is very important to us.

If pets are outside and there isn’t a safe, clear path to your door, we’ll call and ask you to bring your animals inside. If we’re unable to reach you, your meal may not be delivered.

When roads are unsafe, we may cancel deliveries for everyone’s safety. We’ll do our best to contact you and share updates on our social media pages. Before winter begins, we provide emergency meal kits to help you stay prepared. If deliveries are cancelled, please use the items in your emergency meal kit until service resumes.
